Great bundle. However, be aware that the fan blocks one of the memory slots, so don't buy additional memory with this package.

Although this bundle has the same quicklinx number it is not the same as the one I reviewed. My kit came with: Zalman Silent CPU Cooler with Pure Copper & 92mm Fan (Quicklinx: 8278WS00) Dabs.com Note: That's correct Jill the bundle was tweaked after taking note of your comment on the cooler and the DRAM slot.

1. Processor packed separately
2. If you're using WiFi Go make sure it is on the M/B before securing M/B into case.
3. Same with CPU fan, mount bolts on underside of M/B.
4. CPU fan comes with an external speed adjuster but no software. So control is manual. It may be M/B will flash-up a warning if CPU is about to explode. Me - I connected fan direct to M/B and let it take control.
5. CPU fan obscures 1st DRAM slot. Do not add another pair of matching DRAM to your order, although a different low profile pair may be okay.
6. M/B will recognise a GPU in situ and automatically disable on-board graphics.
7. 1st boot. M/B manual and Quick Start instructions differ. I tried both and could not get into BIOS.
8. Booted from Win 7 (64 bit) disk with no probs, then installed M/B software. After this done got into BIOS fine.
9. BIOS reporting all components 'as advertised' except DRAM speed - I've yet to investigate this.
10. Despite Item 7 - easiest build I've ever done.

Great mobo and CPU - not sure about the cooler

First - the blurb claims that the processor is fitted on the board, but wasn't in my case. Secondly, the Zalman cooler isn't a great match for this motherboard, for two reasons.
1: I discovered that it is necessary to fit the cooler mounting bracket AFTER fitting the processor, because the bracket prevents the clamping plate from being fully raised.
2: The clip that clamps the cooler on to the CPU is VERY close to a heatsink near the top of the motherboard, and without great care it would be quite easy to damage the heatsink when securing it!! This can be done by hand - I suggest that you avoid using a screwdriver as shown in the Zalman instructions.
Having said all this, this bundle is fast, comparatively quiet, great BIOS and overclocking capabilities, and at a very competitive price.
The ordering process was simple and efficient. I ordered late morning on Monday and the package arrived 0815 the next morning - fantastic service.
