It is excellent value for money runs perfectly. Bought to replace old drive which turned out to be the same one so no need to install drivers. All in all works fine and only annoying thing is i got it for a little bit more money than on here!

Don't be put off because its so cheap.
I bought this drive to replace the failing one in my desktop pc. I took the old one out put the new one in and booted the pc. Windows 7 recognised it installed it the prompted for a reeboot.
Reebooted the drive was ready for use and works perfectly and is very quiet.
Great drive at a great price.

Broke first time I fired up new build

I had a new computer build and as soon as I fired it up for the first time there was a large puff of smoke originating from the drive. This was perhaps a faulty individual item, however I would not risk it again.
