Super!

Bought the bundle (3 plugs) and received it 3 days later. Good.
Unpacked, plugged and it all worked!
It also comes with white network cables :-)
It works anywhere in the house (no issue with different rings etc.)
It also works on a power protected extension lead.
It does not mind being switched on and off at any socket (we do not live anything connected to the main unless we are using our PC's/laptops)
As far as the encryption is concerned, yes it's dead easy (push the little button). My problem is that I have no idea when it is on or off? I do not know whether it reset it self each time it’s plugged in? I do prefer switches that say 'on' and 'off': no ambiguity!
Next generation of this product should look at reducing the size of the plugs: they re rather big.

I bought this to replace an expensive wireless N system to serve an external home office - some 40 metres from the house. The wireless kept losing connection/poor single, the dlan200 has never failed and the speed is just like being connected directly to BT hub (type N) - excellent product, very easy to set up -recommended without hesitation.

Sooo Good.

I spent about 6 months messing about with a Linksys wifi router and a buffalo wireless-ethernet bridge, which worked, kind of. The problem was that the connection was temperamental; no matter how much I messed about with the settings, I got drop-outs and bad connections.

Got the Devolo AVEasy over the weekend. Up and running in no more than 15 minutes, and 190Mbps from one corner of the house to the other. Power consumption is 5 watts which is a quarter of the bridge I was using. Just tried streaming four divx videos across from one PC to another- totally effortless. Wish I'd bought homeplugs long ago.

As with other people on here, I've also been putting up with a flaky wireless connection. Ordered one of these after hearing how good they were. Unpacking 2 mins Plugging them in 2 mins Absolutely no drop outs, rock solid connection to the net. Why are these things not more widely known about ????

Bought this set to connect to xbox 360 which is downstairs, plugged each adaptor in set up password protection for the adaptors using the software on the cd and up and running on xbox live within 15 mins. Only downside so far is that I haven't been able to use the media player option via xbox - although I'm sure I've read somewhere there's a workaround for this. However from my point of view thats just a minor detail and highly recommend this product. Also great service from dabs, quick delivery, and cheapest price by a long way.

I was skeptical as to whether this would work in my 1920's house but it does.

I've streamed 1080p video across it with no stutter whatsoever, brilliant for PS3 owners. If you have bad WiFi reception or just need that extra speed boost for video streaming or gaming then this is an exceptional product.

Setup couldn't be easier. If you can put a plug in a socket then you can use this. You don't need to load any software. I've heard people say that these units get quite hot but I haven't noticed it so far and I leave mine on 24x7.

At this price they are extremley good value and a piece of technology that actually delivers on what it sets out to do.

Devolo dLAN 200 AV - Brilliant
Reviewed by JM. Review Posted 28/03/2009

Simply the best bit of technology I've ever used. Just plug it in and it works instantly. I've had mine for over a year, but forgot to write a review at the time. I'm just visiting the site to buy some additional adapters, so thought it would be worth adding a thumbs-up from an experienced user.

During the time I've had this, it has worked perfectly without fault or interruption. In the "real world" the connection speeds I've attained have been 167Mbps between the units (i.e. faster than my 100Mbps hub + 100Mbps router), so these are definitely not a weak point in the network, in fact quite the opposite.

The best bit is that, unlike so many other technology products, it just works so easily.

10/10!!!

Connecting the two dLAN adapters was literally a case of plugging them into the electrical outlet then running RJ-45 cables to the modem/router at one end and to a Belkin Network USB hub on the other. Instantly, I had a superb connection! Security-minded individuals need to know that the setup of 128-bit encryption betwixt the two is also very simple: Either press tiny buttons on each adapter within two minutes of each other, or use the software utility on CD to set up your own password encryption. Word of warning though.. As of this date, you might find that carrying out a firmware update via the supplied CD might be a retrograde step, as it seems to offer version 2.0, where my units were version 3+ before I mistakenly applied the 'upgrade'. Still, this is easily resolved by running the latest firmware update from the file online.

I cannot rat this product enough. It is simply fantastic and running at a more-than-reasonable 160Mb two floors up with some very dodgy home wiring!

The product is completely plug and play (excuse the pun). The little button encrypts traffic between devices without the need for the software. A few notes though, the control software on the CD (v17) is older than that on the website (v20). The firmware on the CD (2.0.xx) is older than the plugs (3.3.4), and the website has an updated version (3.3.4a). Am very happy with the product, which is probably my best IT purchase of the year so far.
