Superb Product

This router is really packed with genuinely useful features. I have configured cable with ADSL fallback and it works a treat.
Great fitlers as well, to add an extra bit of management. Probably not the easiest router I have ever set up, but once you get 'in' to it, its not too tricky.
Haven't tried the 3G connection, as my signal is too weak, but I will if I can.
Overall, really excellent product for the money,

Draytek Vigor 2820 - Doesn't do what it says on the tin!
Reviewed by Anonymous Review Posted 26/11/2010
It has all the standard functionality of a mid range ADSL Router, however there are some significant firmware related issues to be aware of.
1. Load balancing rules are not actually adhered to. Protocol based routing, and its order of precedence, along with failover options appear to be ignored ad hoc by the device. The stats are graph based, not overly helpful and lost on reboot of the device. I've monitored the device and load balancing is hit and miss, so if you have capped lines you could be in for a shock!
2. It has memory management issues requiring regular reboots.
3. The USB log file arrangement only works so long before again memory issues are experienced requiring a reboot of the device.
4. QoS is a pain to set up, and the support team aren't overly helpful.
5. The claim of the inbuilt ADSL2+ Modem being Annex M is wrong. It has only ever reached Annex A by restriction of the firmware.
Overall, it's a very average product that I would stay clear of.
