The patent-pending technology, exclusive to Fellowes, detects the thickness of the paper entering the shredder and establishes whether too much has been inserted. It then automatically stops and reverses out the paper. Even if the user misfeeds paper at an angle, or "fast-feeds" sheets before the previous batch has been shredded, this machine will not jam.
