I originally was going to buy a headset but as I sing and play guitar I searched for the best desktop I could find. This fits the bill perfectly. Its larger then you think when you receive it which is good as you dont need to cower toward the desk to use it. I decided to spend a bit and its well worth every penny. The sound quality is amazing. I played guitar, sang through it, spoke through it and the digital effectiveness is quite startling its like you are in a real studio. The background noise filter works so brilliantly. Plus this mic can never break as there are no loose wires, and the base is heavy meaning it wont get knocked over. Absolutely brilliant. Arrived next day too with standard delivery.

Lovely sound quality, useful in games.
Even more useful if you have a built-in sound card where the microphone is too quiet. (yes I'm looking at you, Creative Audigy LS SE on the MSI K8N Diamond Plus!)
As said up there, the button on the base is useful to turn it off.
The black stand is flexible.

I've had mine for years now, and to this day it's my weapon of choice for TeamSpeak2, MSN, skpye, and a huge variaty of other voice and music recording (just amature parodys). The button on the top of it is invaluble as a quick way to stop your mic if you have, say, your mother wander in to your room and start ranting =D All in all, very good buy, and I paid a fiar bit more for mine :)
