Very good drive

Best upgrade I could have made, the boot time is incredibly quick, down to 20 seconds, and my Windows Experience index rating is at 7.9 for the main drives transfer speed on Sata 6Gb, the highest you can get.

I got this to replace a "Kingston 60GB SSD Now" in an older SATA2 machine. The write speeds have greatly improved to approx 170MB/s and read speeds are 236MB/s. Booting is faster, loading Photoshop CS5.5 or Word is 1-3 seconds. Productivity is greatly improved due to being so quickly able to switch programs and get files loaded. Amazing results, excellent service from Dabs. I could not be happier at this time.

Dabs usual very fast delivery. This is my first try with an SSD and it is very impressive. My system speed is at least 4 time faster than it was. I ghosted my HDD with the included software. A bit of a faff but not too bad. It is recommended that you do a clean install, but I have my WIN7 system just how I want it. So, overall I would happily recommend this SSD. Hopefully the 3 year guarantee is a good indicator of its lifespan.

830 Series - Raid 0

I've got two of these in Raid 0. I installed Win 7 ultimate 64 in eight mins and boot to windows in 8 secs. The highest read I have had is 959mbs and 628 write. Only drawback is the Samsung software does not recognize raid arrays

Plug and Play, easy to install, had it a few weeks now with no issues. Speeds are consistently 440-330mp/s read and write on my Dell laptop.
