Quite, Fast, Cheap

Being used in fanless external eSata enclosure, as a media drive. HFS formatted for Mac Pro.
Copied 1.5TB of mixed media files (MP3's and large MP4's), with an average write on 120MB/s.
Stayed very quiet throughout whole process and got marginally warm (not hot) after a couple of hours at full tilt.
Overall very happy - more happy than I am with the recent WD and Seagate purchased.

I'd give it 6 for vfm at the price I paid.
But the reason for this review is to save unnecessary worry and returns from users with older nVidia Windows drivers and new >1TB disks.
There is an old nVidia driver error that causes disk formatting to "fail" at 54% (~1.1TB)- solution upgrade to the latest ones which are at present dated 18/08/2008 v10.3.0.42.
Worked like a dream after I upgraded the SATA disk drivers.

Next day delivery on the free postage option, very well packaged too. Quick format took 30 seconds, HDD is very quiet. I purchased three drives to replace some of my 500GB drives. When I ordered these drives it was the best price I could find with the free postage option..Well done dabs!!
