Dabs are great to deal with, fast delivery and trouble free ordering, definitely bookmark this site, Ive already recommended it to several friends. The Western Digital 4TB My Book Mac Studio Edition II, what a device, it's a beast, 4TB of Storage out of the Box, ready to plug in and go (provided your using a Mac), Ive got it connected to a Mac Pro via Firewire 800, for RAW file and aperture library storage, I installed the WD raid manager software to configure it as a 2TB raid 1 mirrored set up, but word of warning, Uninstall the software after changing your raid, It's as buggy as hell on Mac's, but so far, the device is great, i'm very happy with it, so quiet running I hardly notice it's there, and the best part is the 5 year warranty, so ive got 5 years peace of mind that my data is nice and safe, well worth every penny.

Decent drive but awful experience

I went through two weeks of torture because this drive was released to market without RAID software which was Mountain Lion compatible.
Freezes, crashes galore and two weeks of editing hell. I limped through by extracting the drive unit which the WD software reported as faulty. Finally WD caught up, released ML-compatible RAID software and the drive now seems fine. Sadly too late in my case.
